Now the big news it that CPY managed to crack the game's Denuvo v4 protection in a relatively short timeframe, which is a big deal considering this new version of Denuvo was supposed to be the next big thing in DRM land. Logically, some backers were shocked that Gloomywood teamed up with a publisher that required them to implement the Denuvo anti-copy protection. The game that got cracked is 2Dark and it's a pretty interesting case because this is a crowdfunded game that was developed by French gaming studio Gloomywood with the promise that it would not ship with DRM. Last year there were various reports about how Denuvo was so hard to crack that game piracy may come to an end, but now news hits the web that crackers managed to break the Denuvo v4 DRM in just little over one month.
